Microsoft Publisher 2003 provides powerful and
easy-to-use desktop publishing tools with numerous functions to automate the
design process. This workshop is designed to help you learn how to create a
wide variety of professional quality flyers, business cards, greeting cards,
newsletters, catalogs, brochures, and other publications. This workshop is
divided into three parts. Below is the description for each part.
Microsoft Publisher 2003 Part 1
Introduction to MS Publisher 2003 -- Part One will cover how to develop a publication from scratch and some basic publication skills . MS Publisher offers a user-friendly environment for you to work in. Since it includes many of the menus, toolbars, and shortcuts that are similar to other Microsoft Office applications, it allows you to quickly learn the basics.
Microsoft Publisher 2003 Part 2
Enhancing Publication -- Learn how to design and edit a page using MS Publisher’s Task Pane which allows you to design your publication using templates, including color and font schemes. This part will also teach you how to insert text boxes and tables, very useful features that enable you to present your data and information in an organized manner.
Microsoft Publisher 2003 Part 3
Publication Elements -- In this last part, you will learn how to add text to and modify objects in a publication to enhance the outlook. You will also learn how to use the function MAIL MERGE to make printing for multiple recipients faster and easier. And finally, learn how to use the Pack and Go Wizard and be able to prepare your publication for commercial printing.
