Workshop Policies
Attendance
- Most workshops will be approximately 90 Minutes in length.
- Seating will begin 15 minutes prior to the workshop start time.
- Workshop attendance is on a First Come First Serve basis.
No prior registration is needed.
- As a courtesy to the Trainer and other workshop attendees, absolutely
NO attendance is allowed after 15 minutes
following the workshop start time.
- Absolutely NO food or drinks are allowed in
the workshops.
- All cell phones, pagers, and audible devices must be turned off or set to
vibration mode during the workshop.
- Workshop attendees are highly encouraged to bring their own storage drives
(e.g., flash or pen drives) to save their work. There are
NO floppy or zip drives installed in our training lab workstations.
- No proof of attendance will be issued except for students with the TRIO
card issued by the Office for Students with Disabilities.
- Eligible attendee with a Valid CSULA ID (Golden Eagle card)
and Computer Account (NIS account) may attend.
- Eligible attendees:
- CSULA matriculated students with one of the following:
- Golden Eagle Card with the current
quarter schedule printout from GET
- State photo ID (e.g., California driver's license) and the current
quarter schedule printout from GET
- CSULA faculty and staff members with CSULA ID cards.
Although priority is given to students, faculty/staff members are also welcome when space is available.
Workshop Material
- Only one copy of each handout will be given to each student in attendance
only.
- Workbooks are for in-class use only and must be returned
at the end of the workshop.
Certification
- A certificate of completion will be presented to those
who attend all parts of any Microsoft Office series (Access,
Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word), Adobe Photoshop, Flash and
Dreamweaver, or SPSS series.
- To be eligible for the certificate, all parts within each
series must be attended during one single quarter. There are
no exceptions.
- Your certificate can be claimed at the end of the last workshop in the series
that you have completed - pending verification of attendance.
Note: This certificate is not an official
Microsoft Office Certification or equivalent. It is simply a proof that that you
have attended (one or more) ITS Training Program workshop(s).
