Excel 2003 Functions & Data Analyses


The Excel 2003 Functions and Data Analyses workshop is designed to be an advanced course for students who use Excel extensively. In this three-part course, the use of various functions and PivotTables for data analyses will be discussed. Students who are unfamiliar with Excel are strongly advised to attend the six-part Excel workshop in order to build a solid foundational understanding of the program.

Excel 2003 Functions & Data Analyses Part 1
Functions and Data Validation -- Explore the definition of Excel functions by learning various Lookup as well as Date and Time functions. Additionally, attendees will be taught how to use advanced logical functions and data validation, ending with applying the knowledge to create a checkbook register used in real life.

Excel 2003 Functions & Data Analyses Part 2
PivotTable -- A PivotTable is a summary table which uses two-dimensional data to create a three-dimensional table based on multiple conditions that have intersecting points. Learn how to create and revise a PivotTable report and a Pivot Chart report as well as how to publish a PivotTable in the HTML format.
